You know the saying 'Don't judge a book by its cover'? Never mind that, because at CoverSmash, that's exactly what we want you to do. By heading over to the categories in CoverSmash you will be presented with two book covers from the chosen category. Your job is to compare them and click on the one you think is the best. What criteria to set? We leave that up to you.

The rank of the book you picked will rise while the rank of the loser will fall. The top-ranked book in each category at the end of the month will win a badge of honor to include on their covers. The owner of the book ranked as number 1 across all categories, will win a gift certificate of 20$ either on Amazon or Fiverr.

Why not just give each book cover a rating between 1 and X and be done with it? We could have. However, grading something is difficult, or, at least, it is more difficult than doing a comparison. Also, it allows us an easy way to present books to readers two at a time.

Authors

A book's cover is its number one selling point. CoverSmash is here to emphasize that. By uploading your cover to CoverSmash, you allow us to show it to our users and, therein, potential readers and reviewers.

3. Submit a book cover - Given that this is an indie or small press book and that you have the rights for uploading the cover, the book will be approved before being allowed into the voting pool.
4. See what happens! Now, your book will be presented to our audience alongside a competitor and the reader is asked to pick the best one.
